Wilson Peak
#50About Wilson Peak
Wilson Peak stands at 14,021 feet (4,274 m) and may be Colorado's most recognizable peak as the mountain featured on Coors beer labels. The standard route requires Class 3 scrambling, and the summit provides spectacular views of the San Miguel Mountains and Lizard Head Wilderness.
History
Featured prominently on Coors beer packaging, Wilson Peak is one of Colorado's most photographed mountains. Named after the same A.D. Wilson as Mount Wilson, it offers challenging but rewarding climbing in the heart of the San Juans.
